Jane and “A Girl Called Lavender”
Jane earned a red ribbon for “A Girl Called Lavender” at the Diocesan Speech Contest at St. Mary’s School in Glasgow on November 5, 1977. She was among Dorothy Boss’s St. Joseph speech students pictured in the newspaper afterward.

Jane joins the family
A 1965 newspaper announcement welcomed Jane to Bob and Bridget’s family, joining David, Dan, Betty, Ron and Linda. The family remembers her arrival in itsstory of moving to a larger home.

Jane Maria Roling is listed for a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration under Management / Personnel Management in the University of Missouri–Columbia’s program for its May 6, 1988 business-school ceremony. That year’s Savitar lists Jane Roling among the seniors with “Management” beside her name.
