Frank’s separate sheet-metal shop — identity unresolved
“Your carport can be beautiful”
A 1958 advertisement for Frank’s Sheet Metal Shop sold a little curb appeal along with its ironwork. It offered wrought- and cast-iron designs for carports, porches, patios and interiors, with ornamental columns starting at $2.25 a foot. “Frank Roling, Owner” appeared at the bottom, alongside the wonderfully short telephone number: 101.
The advertisement names a separate shop; which Frank Roling owned it remains to be confirmed.
